Tonometry
Tonometry is a diagnostic test carried out during eye examination. It measures the pressure inside the eye, which is called intraocular pressure (IOP). This measurement can help determine whether or not you may be at risk of glaucoma or ocular hypertension
The normal eye pressure ranges from 10mmHg to 21 mmHg.
If your eye pressure falls outside of the normal range, this may be due to any of the following.
▪︎Glaucoma
▪︎Trauma
▪︎Medications
Be sure to always check and monitor your eye pressure regularly.
